B Series B41 & B42 PID Board Level Controls
from $165 List
.
Future Design Controls B Series board level controls, models B41 and B42, are based upon the 1/4 DIN panel mount 4100 and P41 controllers. Typically these products are used as sub-panel mount controllers and accessed by a serial modbus master device; i.e. PLC, HMI display, PC, etc.
.
B41 PID Steady State PID Board Level Control
.
The B41 is a steady state board level PID loop control available with an optional Display/Operator Interface Board.
.
The B41 and its Operator Interface Board are typically specified when space prevents a DIN style panel control from being used. The optional display interface board may be mounted in an opening behind a panel overlay with the PID control board mounted remotely to the display and has a secure connection to the main B41 board. The display board has four buttons to change Setpoint and configuration parameters in the same fashion as the panel mount DIN control 100 Series FDC-4100.
.
When used without the optional Display Board all setup & operator interface must be done through the optional Modbus communication port.

B42 PID Profile Ramp Soak PID Board Level Control
.
The B42 is a Profile Ramp Soak board level PID loop control. An optional display board is available but intended only for temporary use, typically for configuration and/or troubleshooting.
.
The B42 is based upon the 1/4 DIN P41 single loop control. The B42, with up to 9 Profiles (up to 64 segments/profile), up to 4 control outputs, configurable Event input, PID Selection by Segment or Event input, PV/SP Retransmission (15-bit), serial Modbus RTU communication, fast scan rate (200ms), make it the right choice for a Profile control.
The B42 offers a full range of universal high resolution (18 bit) inputs; T/C, RTD and linear mA/VDC inputs. Power requirement of either 90-250 VAC or optional 11-26 VAC/VDC allows the B42 to be used virtually anywhere.
Note: The B42 is commonly used as a component in Future Design Controls nCompass LC control system.
